Exceptional tile panel made by De Porceleyne Fles Delft in 1883 (Yearletter E). The painter of this panel was Leon Senf, (Delft 1860 – Alkmaar 1940) The panel depicts a landscape with a typical Dutch mill after a painting by L. Apol. What makes this panel very special is that the tiles are 8” square. (20 x20 cm each) Overall size: 55 x 76 cm (22”x 30”). Unfortunately the frame has some damage, especially at the bottom.
