This elegant Art Nouveau tile was produced by Tonwerk Offstein in Germany around 1910. The design features a beautifully stylised flower with gracefully flowing stems and broad leaves, rendered in a refined palette of green, cream, and warm ivory on a light grey ground. The balanced composition and fluid organic lines are characteristic of the mature Art Nouveau style, combining natural inspiration with a restrained geometric symmetry. The decoration is executed in moulded relief, giving the floral motif a subtle sculptural quality that enhances the soft transitions between the glazes. The tile remains in excellent antique condition with bright, well-preserved glaze and crisp relief. It displays only minimal signs of age consistent with careful preservation over more than a century.
