This striking pair of Art Nouveau tiles was produced by Thonwarenfabrik Lamberty, Servais & Co. ,a renowned German manufacturer established in 1878. The design depicts stylised water lilies and elegant sweeping foliage floating on a tranquil pond, rendered in soft shades of blue, green, cream, and amber. The composition extends seamlessly across both tiles, creating a harmonious decorative panel characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement's fascination with natural forms and flowing lines. The tiles are made of substantial stoneware and feature a finely executed dust-pressed relief beneath a rich glaze. Their robust construction makes them suitable for both interior and exterior display. The reverse bears the impressed factory marks of Lamberty, Servais & Co., confirming their authenticity and period manufacture. Presented in a custom aluminium frame, the panel remains in excellent condition with only minor signs of age.
