This charming landscape tile was produced by Mugeln Germany, around 1910. The design depicts a tranquil rural farmhouse with a warm ochre thatched roof set among trees, viewed from a winding country path. Executed in the soft, atmospheric palette typical of the period. The tile is in very good antique condition. The glaze remains bright with only light age-related crazing and minor edge wear consistent with over a century of age. The reverse shows remnants of original mortar from installation, as expected for an architectural tile.
